DAY ONE - Friday, March 28th

A classroom-style setting + field work in which you will learn how to maximize your points and potential for success from Trial Prep through to Critique.

Things covered include:

- What type of handler are you? You will explore what strategies work best for you and your dog.

- You will learn in detail the Rules, how scoring works, and why this benefits you to know in the upper levels.

- You also learn what questions to ask the judge, and when.

Day One will be held at the Dog 4 Life Training facility and field.
2-3 PSA certified decoys will be on site to help with training and scenarios, in addition to training decoys (PLENTY of decoys for the upper levels).

DAY TWO - Saturday, March 29th

A guided, training-focused Mock Trial complete with judge, stewards, PSA certified decoys (3+), distractions, PSA regulation field, and more.

- This Mock Trial will be run just like a PSA trial, with the exception that every dog and handler team can approach the Mock from the point of training they are currently at. Puppy's first trial picture to prepping to trial this Spring.. how you choose to approach it is entirely up to you, and rewards and tool use is fine. It is a training-focused Mock.

- Clay will be providing the scenarios, "judging" you and your dog as a team, giving feedback on strengths and weaknesses, trial readiness, approach, handling strategy, and more.

- You will learn how to handle unexpected mistakes during trial, and become acquainted with the anatomy of surprise scenarios.

Day Two will be held at a sports field in Bastrop, TX and set up to PSA Trial Standards.
3+ PSA certified decoys will be on site to help with training and scenarios, in addition to training decoys (PLENTY of decoys for the upper levels).
